If you are a customer of BTC and have provided your e-mail address as part of the customer relationship, this can subsequently be used by us to send a newsletter.

You also have the option of signing up for the free newsletter on our website.

If you explicitly consent to us sending you information about events and products of BTC AG, we will use the data you provide for these purposes.

For effective registration, we need a valid e-mail address. In order to check that a registration is actually made by the owner of an e-mail address, we use the “double-opt-in” procedure. For this purpose, we record the subscription to the newsletter, the sending of a confirmation email and the receipt of the response requested hereby.

Our e-mail newsletters are sent via the technical service provider CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG, Mühlenstrasse 43, 26180 Rastede (“CleverReach”), to whom we pass on the data you provided when registering for the newsletter. This disclosure takes place in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR and serves our legitimate interest in using an advertising-effective, secure and user-friendly newsletter system.

The data you enter for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter (e.g. e-mail address) will be stored on CleverReach’s servers in Germany or Ireland.

CleverReach uses this information to send and statistically evaluate the newsletters on our behalf. For the evaluation, the newsletters sent by e-mail contain so-called web beacons or tracking pixels, which represent single-pixel image files that are stored on our website. This makes it possible to determine whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links have been clicked, if any. With the help of so-called conversion tracking, it can also be analyzed whether a predefined action (e.g. participation in a webinar) has taken place after clicking on such links. In addition, technical information is collected (e.g. time of access, IP address, browser type and operating system). The data is collected exclusively pseudonymously and is not linked to your other personal data, a direct personal reference is excluded. This data is used exclusively for the statistical analysis of newsletter campaigns. The results of these analyses can be used to better tailor future newsletters to the interests of the recipients.

You can read more about CleverReach’s data analysis here:

You can view CleverReach’s privacy policy here:

If you wish to object to data analysis for statistical evaluation purposes, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter.

We have concluded a data processing agreement with CleverReach, in which we oblige CleverReach to protect our customers’ data and not to pass it on to third parties.

You have the option of objecting to the sending of the newsletter at any time. For this purpose, there is a corresponding link in each newsletter.

Data processing is carried out towards customers in accordance with § 7 para. 3 UWG.

In the case of interested parties, data processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR
